This classroom-based course uses a scenario-based, teamThis classroom-based course uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric emergency management of patients approaching or already in respiratory or cardiac arrest.

This classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.

Audience: Healthcare professionals with a current PALS certification card. Student will receive a didactic review of all protocols and review of pretest. Students will be required to demonstrate competency skills in Megacode Station and written exam.
